Exclusive: Zapu Celebrations Doubtful, Soul Brothers Manager Dies

THE ZAPU show 50 year celebrations scheduled Barbourfields Stadium this Sunday is now doubtful after reports that the manager of popular Mbaqanga singers Soul Brothers hanged himself today.
Unconfirmed reports say the manager, only known as Michael is said to has taken his life today after lunch hour.
"He is the one who keeps all records and was aware of all shows and when they are held," said a source in Johannesburg who requested anonymity.
On Monday the Soul Brothers had denied that they are coming to the city of Kings and Queens.
Other singers who were penciled to perform at the event are: sing bird, Sandra Ndebele and leading choir Black Umfolosi, a Chronicle advert said today.
Zapu, which is led by veteran nationalist and freedom fighter Dr Dumiso Dabengwa had invited all political parties to its celebrations. No official comment could be immediate gotten as the phone of Methuseli Moyo the director of communications was unreachable.
