Divided Zanu PF everready for polls, Mugabe says

Faction ridden Zanu-PF is not scared of any elections as it is ever ready, 93 year old Zanu-PF First Secretary Robert Mugabe has claimed.
He claimed that the nasty infighting would not stand in the way of his party from winning the 2018 polls.
"Zanu-PF is ever ready. You know that battery, which is written Ever-ready, always yielding power. We stand ready all the time, but the issue is that of ensuring unity within us" he said during his traditional birthday interview.
He added "The quarrels within the party, suspicions within the party, we are remedying those ones. So, it will not take us time to be in full gear. We do not have differences that can really mar our participation in the election.
" We have been at this game for a long time and we are not vana Zim (People) First. It's born in the morning and before sunset, it has become something else".
Zanu PF is torn between G40 which has a backing of his wife, Grace and Team Lacoste fronted by vice president Emmerson Mnangangwa.
