First Lady Grace Mugabe has been described by his aging husband that
she is "well-seasoned now" to withstand the political heat within and
outside the ruling Zanu PF party circles.
President Robert Mugabe said his wife was very much accepted by the people rubbishing talk that leaders wives must not participate in politics.
Grace has in the past indicated that there is nothing that would stop her from running for president.
"She is very acceptable, very much accepted by the people. I thought you saw her on television today (Friday) … it's fireworks, isn't it?.
"She's well-seasoned now, she's a very strong character" said Mugabe suggesting that she could be his preferred successor.
