Girl (13) offered sadza before being raped

A 13 year old Shurugwi girl was reportedly raped by a 65 year old man who had given her a plate of sadza and milk.
The accused who cannot be named is in custody till Wednesday next week facing rape charges.
The court heard that on January 14 this year, the girl was herding goats alone in the bush when she encountered the accused.
He told the girl to pass through her homestead the next morning on her way to school.
She did just that around 6 am the next day.
"Upon arrival the complainant was given some sadza and milk and after she finished eating, the accused person took the complainant to his bedroom hut" prosecutor Pride Gomera told the court.
Inside the bedroom hut, the girl was instructed to remove her uniform and underwear..
She was the raped.
However, her aunt heard through rumors that the girl was sexually abused and took her to a clinic for examination.
