Bulawayo company Manager fined $500 over death of accident victim

A Bulawayo company boss has been fined $500 after hitting to death a Beitbridge man while driving his car.
Ulbricht Kamasho (39) of Park Hurst Flats in Bulawayo pleaded guilty to culpable homicide charge before Beitbridge magistrate Trevor Nyatsanza.
Kamasho is the Pumps and Suppliers Company manager.
He was fined $500 or to serve three months in jail.
Prosecutor Munyonga Kuvarega said on June 26 last year at 10:30pm Kamasho was driving a Toyota Vista along Bulawayo –Beitbridge road.
When reaching 229km peg Kamasho who was speeding hit Edgar Moyo who as walking along the road resulting to him sustaining serious injuries all
over the body.
He was taken to Beitbridge Hospital before being transferred to the United Bulawayo Hospitals where he later died due to injuries.
This later led to Kamasho's arrest.
