Juvenile in trouble for raping 8 year old child

A juvenile aged 15 has been dragged to court for raping an 8 year old girl in Lusulu Binga.
The boy appeared before Hwange Regional magistrate Dambudzo Malunga.
The court heard that the boy is mother is working together with the minor's mother and they are neighbours.
It is alleged that on October 28 2016 at 3 am the girl's mother went to fetch water leaving the girl asleep in her bedroom. The boy woke up and called the girl to his bedroom where he raped her.
This was discovered by another herd boy who went to the boy's room and discovered the girl's pants and dress and realized that the boy had raped the girl. The boy warned him not to tell anyone about the rape before giving him $3 bribe.
The herd boy in the evening informed the girl's mother about the rape and the report made to the police led to the arrest of the boy.
