Ghanaian journalists reportedly besieged 93 year old President Robert Mugabe's hotel early this morning in that country "for an opportunity to interview him" state media reported.
Mugabe who is due to return this even is in Ghana for Independence celebrations.
The state media report was thin on details and its not clear whether Mugabe who is increasingly not in good health granted the media an interview.
Just last week, Mugabe flew to Singapore for what was said to be a "scheduled medical review".
"Hordes of Ghanaian journalists thronged President Mugabe's hotel here early in the morning for an opportunity to interview him" reads part of the report.
Mugabe surprised many Zimbabweans when reports filtered through that he stop-over in Harare from Singapore and quickly flew to Ghana.
However, in recent years, Mugabe has not missed an opportunity to attend international gathering of world leaders even when other countries are sending their low level ambassadors.
