Who supply police with deadly iron spikes?

A section of Zimbabweans are fed up with the use of deadly iron spikes by members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police when attempting to stop commuter omnibuses.
Several accidents have occurred countrywide after police throw spikes at moving vehicles in a bid to stop the vehicle.
Government officials say police are not allowed to throw spikes and will investigate instances where the public has been endangered through the practice.
However, deputy Minister of Home Affairs Obedingwa Mguni early March said police are allowed to lay spikes on the road but should never throw them in the path of moving vehicles.
He said spikes were part of policing and may be used as barriers just like police drums.
"I want the public to know that spikes are part of policing. There are so many people who think they are not. They work as barriers. They assist the police in controlling traffic, they work the same way as drums and traffic cones," he told local media.
However, who manufactures the iron spike for the police?.
Social media users have posed the same question.
@TakuraZhangazha said "The company making iron spikes for #Zimbabwe traffic cops must be making a killing. Everywhere they have them. (now that is a story)".
Benie Taguta responded saying "@TakuraZhangazha yu can say that AGAIN! Is it even lawful wat the police are doing with those spikes @advocatemahere @ZLHRLawyers".
Nyamasvisva @tmn263 said "@TakuraZhangazha they come now in different sizes".
