Boy drowns while bathing

A form one pupil at Chrome Secondary school in Mutorashanga Mashonaland West drowned at Sado river while taking a bath on 18 March.
Sources close to investigations allege Shadreck Gurufu (15) went to take a bath at the famous river and he tried to swim resulting in him drowning.
"The minor was taking a bath whilst swimming with his colleagues in that river and he drowned prompting his colleagues to file a police report after the sad incident," said the source.
Meanwhile, the river has become a black spot apparently a form 3 girl from the same school drowned on the same spot last year.
Residents believe the river is now cursed but it remains people's favourite when Bulawayo24.com visited the place bathing stones, washing cloths and used condom papers could be seen littered around.
