Elderly man hangs himself after suffering a stroke

There was sombre mood in Barock Farm Mvurwi yesterday when an elderly man, Wezuru Zuvaranyenga, committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday.

Confirming the death, his son Never Zuvaranyenga said his father suffered from a stroke for five years and decided to take his life lamenting that he had suffered enough.

"My father took his life on Thursday by hanging himself he always threatened to kill himself since he thought he was now a burden to the family," said Zuvaranyenga.

He was laid to rest at his Barock farm yesterday.
