Cold blooded murders worry Mugabe's party

The state media reports that the Mugabe led party, Zanu PF Midlands province, has expressed concern over reports that the province is topping the list of cold blooded murders by machetes.
In his overview report on the state of the province at the Zanu PF Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting, Minister of State Cde Jason Machaya expressed concern over reports that the province is leading in cases of cold blooded murder using machetes as result of illegal gold mining activities that are rampant in the province.
He implored the province and party to come together and address the menace before it deteriorates any further.
Deliberating on the matter at the meeting, youths and some party leaders distanced the party from the heinous acts.
Legislator for Chirumhanzu Zibagwe constituency, Auxillia Mnangagwa called for unity in the province and urged those with differences to resolve them amicably.
Meanwhile, cabinet has set up an anti-ministerial committee comprising of Home Affairs, State Security, Defence, and Mines and Mining development ministries to deal with the menace that is threatening peace and security of communities in Zvishavane and Kwekwe.
