'Shut up, am speaking to my sweety'- woman orders hubby

A cheeky married Bulawayo woman  Thabani Dhliwayo got a thorough beating from her husband for ordering him to shut up after receiving a call from her lover.

Ronald Dhliwayo flew into rage after he heard Thabani addressing her lover as 'sweety' thanking him for a new mobile phone he had bought her.

Thabani ordered her husband to lower the television volume when her lover called, B-Metro reported.

During the call, Thabani was heard talking of going to the New Start Centre.

"My wife is abusive and aggressive. I have made several reports at Hillside Police Station about her attacks on me.

"She once attacked me with an iron bar and i did not fight back.

"She once assaulted me with a gold club and it was by the grace of God that she did not injure me" said Ronald in court after Thabani had sought a protection order.

However, Thabani denied Ronald's outline.

"Ronald is verbally and physically abusing me. He insults me saying i am a prostitute, i am useless and that there are other women who are better than me. He does not even treat me as his wife.

"He is lying just because i have decided to seek a protection order aganist him.

"Ronald is a pathological liar. I also have evidence on his escapades" she said  before magistrate Sheunesu Matova.

 Matova ordered the couple not to verbally and physically abuse each other.
