Neighbours blow whistle on drug peddling couple, arrested with 140kgs

Jealous neighbours in Nkulumane sold out a drug peddling couple to the police.
Partmore Bonde and Nomvulelo Ncube got arrested with 140kgs of mbanje with a street value of $87 000.
According to B-Metro, a neighbour said they blew the whistle on the couple 'before things got of of hand'.
"We gave police a tip-off so that they could arrest them because use of these illegal substances contributes to the increased crime that we are reading about everyday in the papers".
"Police conducted a search in their house and six 50 kilogramme bags were found stashed in one of their rented rooms".
According to a police source as reported by B-Metro, Bonde initially denied owning the bags saying he had just been asked to keep them by a friend.
However, he later owned up.
