Man in trouble for calling neighbour telling him his wife is all men’s girlfriend

A Bulawayo man is in trouble after he called his neighbor and told him that his wife was the girlfriend of every men such that he had slept with her several times.

The man Brighton Mpofu (32) pleaded guilty to the charge of abusing communication platform when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya. The magistrate convicted and sentenced him to pay $100 fine or spend 40 days in jail.

The court was told that on January 23 this year at number 23 Sebakwe Richmand in Bulawayo Brighton Mpofu sent a message by cellphone via whatsapp platform saying, "wena konke okwenzayo  bayangitshela wena ungafosi umfazi mekele yimi uBrighton awula  plani ndoda uphila ngokulala laye kuphela wena uyisithutha wadliswa ngumfazi sengilala wena sithutha, lala lomfazi wethu ngiyabusa ngalala laye egangeni eduze lawe. Ungigcinele umfazi noma ngawuphi umnyaka ngoba wena uyahlupha gaya. Manje mina ngiyamthanda wena khuza umfazi wakho but ngowami lami siyelele that is translated in English to mean."

This means that "do all whatever you do they inform me what you do you should not force the women leave her I am Brighton you have no plan man you survive on sleeping with a love portion by the woman I am sleeping you fool sleep with or woman I rule I slept with her in the bush just near you, but if it happens keep the woman for me come whatever year. I will take her mark my words leave her and observe is also mining you imbecile/ idiot."

A report made to the police led to the arrest of Mpofu.
