Bulawayo men up for trying to kidnap sex worker
The two Tinashe Kazungairi (22) and Garirai Nhodza Nasho (29) were not asked to plead to the charge of attempting to kidnap the sex worker Vongai Magomo (34) of Pumula East when they appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Sheunesu Matova. They were granted $20 bail and remanded to May 4 for trial.
The court was told that on 15 April at 4am the two were in the city centre when they met the woman looking for sex clients and Tinashe engaged her before they agreed that they will go and have sex in Khumalo suburb. They boarded a Kombi together with that was driven by another co accused who is still at large. The two started talking in Ndebele that they wanted to kidnap the woman and have sex with her for free before dumping her.
When she heard their discussion and wanted to disembark and the driver alleged increased speed and the woman screamed for help before the two stopped the kombi and pushed her out.
Nasho and Tinashe disembarked from the Kombi as well and the woman went to ask for help at Grey Prison.
