The cold weather in Bulawayo yesterday pushed many commercial sex workers out of business.

A survey by Bulawayo24.com proved that many sex workers opted to stay in their homes due to the freezing weather.

Few sex workers who spoke to Bulawayo24.com said it was better for them to stay indoors since mid week their business will be low.

"It is better to stay in doors because during mid week very few clients will be available so to avoid freezing and low business staying home is a good idea," said Veronica.

However, some ladies of the night had none of the cold weather and were soliciting for clients at Whatever sports bar in New Lobengula, Weaverly, Manor Hotel in Bulawayo town.

"Business is very low in this freezing weather today but at least you can have few cents to buy bread tomorrow," said Jenifer who was soliciting for clients at Weaverly.
