A Mutare-based transport operator, who used to have dilapidated buses took over Senatar Private Limited and Falcon Properties from Bulawayo-based entrepreneur, Andre Zietsman, in a deal that was finalised on Monday.
The acquisition gave Chinjekure Enterprises (Mr Isau & Roselyn Mupfumi) 100% control of the two Bulawayo-based bus companies. It is thought the deal costed $3m.
Under the deal, they take over the transport company, its immovable and movable assets, and the human resources.
The company has also taken over offices in Victoria Falls and at South Africa Park Station in Johannesburg and Grey's Service Station and a storage house in Bulawayo.
Prior to its acquisition, Senatar had a fleet of 10, 72-seater buses, 10 trucks, eight minibuses, 17 trailers, 22 bushmen trailers, 14 private vehicles as well as earthmoving equipment.
