A man from Old Magwegwe was recently caught red-handed by a Cowdray Park resident defecating at his work place gate in the city and picked the stool which he pelted to Mugeji in protest against his orders that he should remove the fierces.
This was heard by a Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya when David Chidhakwa (42) appeared before him charged with assault.
He was not asked to plead to the charge and was remanded to Thursday for trial.
The court was told that the complainant in the matter is Alois Mugeji of Cowdray Park.
It is alleged that on May 6 this year around 7:30pm at number 73 corner Fort Street in the city, Chidhakwa was found defecating at the gate of the business place owned by Mugeji who ordered him to remove his stool. But Chidhakwa instead picked the stool and pelted it at Mugeji.
One of Chidhakwa's colleagues allegedly grabbed Mugeji by the neck while Chidhakwa assaulted him with fists.
Mugeji sustain injuries as a result and he made a report to the police leading to Chidhakwa's arrest
