Killarney man in trouble for sexually abusing girl (14)

A man from Killarney in Bulawayo is in trouble after he proposed love to a 14 year old girl who agreed with him and they engaged in sexual intercourse which is against the law that only views the age of consent to sex and love as from 16 years.
Blyden Tonderai Chinyoka (20) was not asked to plead to a charge of having sexual contact with a young person when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Gladmore Mushove.
The magistrate remanded him to May 22 for trial.
The court heard that sometime in January this year (2017) the girl's pastor asked the girl why she was not happy like what she used to be some other days and she lied to him that she was raped by the accused and that she was five months pregnant.
She later told her sister the truth that she had consensual sex with Chinyoka and this led to his arrest.
