Man jailed 20 days for theft from Zimra official

A man of no fixed abode has been jailed 20 days for them from the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority official's vehicle when the officers slept inside as he was too drunk to drive.
Nachiwale Office pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Nyaradzo Ringisai who sentenced him to 20 days in jail which was suspended on condition he paid back $53 to the complainant.
Office stole from Taungana Ndoro on April 25 this year at 1am when the complainant got drunk and was no longer able to drive home before he slept in the car.
Office broke into the car and stole Ndoro's belongings mobile phones and cash. He was arrested when he was found in possession of the stolen property.
