ZNCC to host business awards event in Bulawayo

The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) will this Friday conduct a Pinnacle event which involves the Matabeleland Annual Business awards in Bulawayo, a dinner ceremony which will take place at the Rainbow Hotel.
This was revealed in the latest council minutes.
The Town Clerk Christopher Dube reported that the invitation had been received from the ZNCC.
"The Matabeleland chapter of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) will be hosting its pinnacle event, the Matabeleland Annual Business Awards (MABAs) Dinner and ceremony at a venue in Bulawayo on Friday June 09, 2017. The purpose of these Awards is to honour and recognize remarkable and noteworthy business performance for the 2016 calendar year. These Awards are aimed at fostering a competitive culture within industry. A culture founded on good workmanship, with prospects of ultimately translating to improved product and service delivery, thereby heightening the spirit of excellence in mundane business practice, hence our theme: "CONSOLIDATING THE NEW NORMAL ECONOMY THROUGH POLICY REFORMS," reads the invitation to council.
"As a nation, we strive perennially to grow from strength to strength with regards to the aggregate economic outlook. One sure way of attaining this endeavour is through amalgamating as oft as we possibly can in pursuit of business ideas that will culminate in the crafting of lasting solutions to our ubiquitous economic woes."
The minutes states that it is therefore against this background that we extend this invitation to BULAWAYO CITY COUNCIL, keenly seeking your presence at this epic event.
"The MABAs provide a perfect opportunity for networking and expansion of one's business database in a serene dining environment," reads the minutes.
