Man 'Killed' over $1

A man at the Bulawayo's market place in the city centre on Thursday allegedly killed his colleague following an argument over a $1 which the latter failed to pay after selling his head of cabbage when the former was away.
Vendors who saw the fight said the one Ronald was killed by one James after they engaged in a dispute over selling of a cabbage head.
It is alleged that Ronald who was drunk sold the head of cabbage belonging to James when he (James) was away.
When James returned he demanded the money which Ronald refused to pay.
A quarrel ensued between the two and later Ronald gave James his money before he also later confronted him again accusing James of taking advantage of his drunkenness.
He allegedly attacked James who suddenly picked a broom stick and struck him once of the head and he fell down.
He died on the spot and James reportedly handed himself to the police.
