Makokoba duo drags man to secluded place, assault him

Two man from Thokozani Flats in Makokoba allegedly dragged a man from Gwanda to a secluded place where they allegedly seriously assaulted him.
This was heard by a Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya when Tongai Moyo (22) and Thulani Dlamini (26) appeared before him charged with assault.
They were further remanded for trial.
The court was told that on August 31 this year the complainant Honest Ndlovu was standing outside Royal Hotel in Bulawayo when the two approached him and dragged him to a secluded place where they assaulted him.
They searched him and took his $72 before running away.
Ndlovu reported the matter to the police leading to their arrest.
