A PASSENGER who was in a commuter omnibus that was arrested by the police for dropping passengers at an undesignated place is in trouble after he refused to comply with police officers' order for all passengers to disembark from the kombi.

Tawanda Kanengoni (23) was denying the charge of defeating the course of justice when he appeared before a Bulawayo magistrate Nyaradzo Ringisai.

The court was told that on June 8 this year Kanengoni was in a kombi, which was seen by the police officers dropping people at an undesignated place.

They approached the kombi and ordered all the passengers to disembark. But Kanengoni refused to come out of the vehicle saying that police officers were a problem and were delaying him from going to work.

This later led to his arrest.
