Rest in Eternal Peace Thabo Kunene - MRP

Mthwakazi Republic Party president Mqondisi Moyo has mourned the death of a South Africa based Zimbabwean Journalist Thabo Kunene who passed on in that country this week.
"On my behalf and on behalf of the party and Mthwakazi at large it is with deep sorrow and grief that I convey my heartfelt condolences to the Kunene family and relatives on the passing away of Thabo Kunene one of our own who was now based in South Africa," Moyo said .
"It is with shock to receive these sad news in less than two weeks after we lost another cadre Sikhumbuzo Gululu Moyo in SA. According to Lisa Kunene the first born daughter the late her father passed away on Tuesday the 03rd of October 2017 after succumbing to Lung failure and Chest pains. The body of the late journalist who worked for the Chronicle, Standard, VOP, Bush Radio and Radio Netherlands will leave SA today where the service will be held at Kings and Queens in SA at 4pm."
He said mourners are gathered at number 11 Potgieter Road in Northvale in Bulawayo, the body is set to arrive tomorrow morning and the burial will be on Sunday at West Park cemetery in Bulawayo in the morning according to Lisa Kunene the daughter to the late veteran journalist.
"Indeed this is a sad loss to Mthwakazi as a whole, I have known the late veteran journalist for a very long time and we always spoke regularly though its now close two three weeks without communicating to him. He was always optimistic that one day Mthwakazi will be liberated and he always emphasised to me that we are the generation to liberate our people. Kumdeni wakoKunene, abangane lezihlobo zonke and to all those whom Thabo Kunene worked with in the media fraternity I say we mourn together the passing away of one of own. May his dear soul rest in eternal peace," Moyo said.
