'Rapist' tells court his manhood is too small

A rape suspect stunned the court yesterday just before his trial could kick off when he claimed that he was incapable of penetrating a woman because his sexual organ was too small.
The suspect, Joel Ndebele, told Bulawayo regional magistrate Mr Owen Tagu that he was being framed for something that he did not do as at the time of the alleged rape his organ had started shrinking.
He offered to show the court his organ and prison officers who were in court confirmed his story that he had a short organ, which was just a "tip".
The prosecutor, Mr Jabulani Mhlanga, had to make an application that Ndebele be examined by a neurologist to ascertain his medical condition.
Ndebele told the court that when he left prison where he was serving for another offence before he was arrested for the rape charge he had already developed the problem.
Ndebele (34) from Dingumuzi in Plumtree was not formally charged and was remanded in custody to 23 February.
Ndebele and the complainant were once lovers before he was sent to prison.
On 7 August last year, he was released from prison where he had been serving since December 2010.
On the day of his release and at about 5.30 pm, he visited his ex-lover at her place of residence and found out that she was already staying with another man, whom she claimed she was customarily married to.
She told him that they could not continue with the relationship but Ndebele would not take that and threatened to kill the couple, the court heard.
He allegedly ordered her in the presence of her husband to accompany him to his residence so that they could talk about the issue.
She left her husband behind and went with Ndebele and he allegedly made her sleep overnight.
During the night, the State alleges that he raped her twice.
The next morning she went back to her residence and did not tell anyone and neither did she report to the police.
On 30 August the same year, at around 5 pm, she saw him walking behind her carrying an empty bottle and she ran away and sought refuge at a house where a police officer stays and she made a report.
