Mthwakazi Liberation Front has condemned the arrest of Mzilikazi II, the Ndebele King Stanley Raphael Khumalo, by the police saying it is another ploy to silent those pushing for the restoration of Mthwakazi.
MLF spokesperson Chrispen Nyoni said Stanely Raphael was arrested today by police and described the move as yet another bogus way of closing the Mthwakazi peoples from exercising their right to what they believe in.
"While other Mthwakazi groupings have been given space, it appears that SRK has never been given that space. There is a telling story from that and I will be unpacking that from a political pedestal that I am on," he said.
Stanley was arrested at Lobengula Kraal in Bulawayo as he and his group planned to conduct Inxwala celebrations.
Details of the charges he is facing are yet to be established.
