The dreaded Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) might lose its Bulawayo offices if plans by Zapu continues to press for ownership and control of all Zapu properties.
This comes amid revelations by a senior Zapu insider that the party recently resolved to drag Zanu-PF and or the government of Zimbabwe to the High Court seeking an order allowing it to re-possess Zapu properties.
Amongst the properties that is Magnet House, a building situated along Main Street between 10th and 11 avenue in Bulawayo.
The party insider said they were in the process of coming up with a clear and updated list of the Zapu properties.
"We are finishing our investigations on the properties and as soon as we come up with a clear list of them (the properties), we will take Zanu PF and the government to the High Court definitely.
"What we have now is just the properties that you all know for example Magnet House," said the insider.
The late vice president Joshua Nkomo led Zapu to a 'messy' unity agreement with President Robert Mugabe's Zanu PF.
From then to date, Zapu properties have not been publicly declared.
The unity pact was a 'compromise deal' which came after a conservative 20 000 Ndebeles lost their lives in an ugly operation called Gukurahundi.
The CIO are likely to work hand in glove with Zanu-PF to resist any moves to evict them from the Zapu properties.
