THE People's Democratic Party and MDC Alliance in Bulawayo has said it is intensifying its door to door voter registration campaign to encourage people in the city to go out in numbers to vote.
Ina statement Edwini Ndlovu said the party is embarked in efforts to encourage people to register to vote.
Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has since announced the extension of the biometric voter registration period to next year.
"It is apparent that the political party that would win the elections is the one which would have registered more voters than others," said Ndlovu.
"Zimbabweans have continued to be governed by unpopular people because the majority of Zimbabweans do not vote," he said.
He said when people boycotting voting they would be unwittingly aiding the Zanu PF regime to continue illegitimately governing.
