Deputy Finance Minister Terence Mukupe has mourned the death of Bulawayo Zanu PF youth leader Magura Charumbira who died in a car crash near Norton on Monday.
"Magura Magura Charumbira, Junior Crocodile, I can't stop crying and weeping for you my brother, my friend. Now that we are in the New Zimbabwe we fought for together, this had to happen. Gone too soon... I will miss you my brother. Zimbabwe will miss you. My hero I salute you for your fearlessness. Tears in heaven," said Mukupe.
Charumbira rose to prominence after he booed former first lady Grace Mugabe at the ninth Zanu PF interface Rally in Bulawayo on November 4.
He is also alleged to have participated in the torture of Mthwakazi youth who demonstrated denouncing President Emmerson Mnangagwa at a church service in Bulawayo.
