MDC youths further remanded for throwing campaign fliers at Mugabe's residence

Ten members of the Welshman Ncube led MDC charged with throwing their party's campaign fliers at the Bulawayo State House on Wednesday remanded to April 23 to allow the state to properly charge them or be placed off remand.
Their lawyer; Zibusiso Ncube made the application yesterday before Bulawayo magistrate, Vivian Ndlovu asking for further particulars of the charges of criminal nuisance which they were being charged with.
He argued that his clients had no case to answer.
Ncube also gave notice that if the state fails to come up with a proper charge on the next remand date, he will make an application for refusal of remand.
The ten are all out of custody on $20 bail each.
According to the state outline, on 17 September last year at about 1.30pm, the 10 acting in common purpose went to the State House along Shollor Road, Sauerstown suburb.
They allegedly threw some fliers with their party's campaign messages into through the fence into the State house's yard.
It is further stated that the 10 were spotted by soldiers who guard the place who summoned them but the group fled in different directions.
The soldiers reportedly gave chase and managed to apprehend two of the 10 who later implicated others.
