Bulawayo's business community to invade offices of two cabinet ministers and a financial institution in a bid to force them to release Distressed and Marginalised Areas Fund (Dimaf).
The targeted ministers are Industry and Commerce, Welshman Ncube and Finance Minister Tendai Biti and the financial institution is Central Africa Building Society (CABS).
Gono made the call Thursday while addressing members of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) Matabeleland chapter in Bulawayo.
"Dimaf has not been disbursed and that requires you to adopt a different approach than one of mourning and crying' said Gono.
"As I speak today I look to a day were I see headlines saying you have gone on a hunger strike, camped at Biti's office. It could be Ncube's office, so be it.
"You heard where the money is, go and occupy even CABS offices" Gono said.
He said he would joined the protests waving a placard inscribed " DIMAF…DIMAF"
Gono went on "Worldwide we have heard of Occupy Wall Street, but you are just seating here occupying yourselves".
Vice President John Nkomo attended the meeting but did not comment on Gono's call.
