A Matobo man who was caught in a compromising position in a bush with the wife of an Injiva and ordered by local Chief Masuku to compensate the husband with one beast seven years ago is yet to settle the payment.
Phibion Moyo appeared at Chief Masuku's traditional court in Matobo on Sunday where the chief insisted that he had to pay.
Asked by the chief why he had not settled the payments, Moyo said he was not employed and was making frantic efforts to raise the money for the beast.
"Why are you not paying, do you have beasts, donkeys, goats, dogs, what about a cat?" asked Chief Masuku.
In response, Moyo said he did not have any of the mentioned animals saying he was looking for a job to raise the money for the beast.
Chief Masuku ordered Moyo to come back to the court with his Kraal head and father on April 15 and bring along the beast.
Moyo was caught in a compromising position with a married woman in 2006. He was apprehended by villagers and taken to the chief's where a trial was held and found Moyo guilty of the having an affair with a married woman.
