Local hookers fight foreign students over clients

There was chaos at a flat in the city centre recently when an angry mob of suspected prostitutes stormed it baying for the blood of some foreign students believed to be Namibians accusing them of clandestinely "hoarding" their clients and sexually entertaining them for a song. The ugly scenes came hardly two weeks after another one in Northend where some female residents allegedly beat up another female student as punishment for having sex with married men.
The gory encounter, which reportedly left one student with bruises all over her body, started at a local night club when two prostitutes viciously attacked her after she allegedly hooked up with male reveler whom they claimed to be their regular client.
According to a witness, the night brawl which later spiraled out of control and nearly turned tragic started after a group of local prostitutes reportedly stalked the two loverbirds on their way to the girl's lodgings.
It is reported that soon after their arrival, their sexual adversaries descended on the student giving her deserved lesson of her life supposedly instructing her to save one master at a time than to double her night dities with their clients.
The witness said it was an awful scene seeingthe horrible skirmishes by commecial sex workers teaming up and descending upon female foreign students accusing them of snatching their intimate partners.
"It was really a shocking case to see a group of prostitutes teaming up to fight against foreign students whom they accused of snatching clients. So tense was the situation that one of the female student was left with bruises all over her body. It took the timely interventions of some passers-by and neighbours who rushed to the scene to calm the tense situation," said the witness who identified himself as Tshuma.
Tshuma said this was not the first incident at the flat for a female foreign student to be bashed as a rule reminder to keep her legs tightly closed when approached by booked male revelers.
"Really, it has become custom for these girls that every weekend one of them would be assaulted after being accused of snatching other prostitutes' clients. The problem is that they like boozing and after taking one too many they end up hooking up with some "booked" male revelers," he added.
It is alleged that some male revelers have developed predilections towards foreign students as their sexual favours are said to be affordable as compared to local prostitutes.
"Since the outbreak of the ugly scene last Saturday night we are now living in fear after being threatened with an unspecified action by a group of women who stormed our residence accusing us of snatching their clients. We are even afraid of going to school as they can ambush us and surely from the way they were saying it they were meaning serious business," said Ottilie Andreas, one of the foreign students.
