A South African based pressure group - The Global Zimbabwe Forum has accused the inclusive government in Zimbabwe of ignoring people in the Diaspora on key national issues.
The group said millions of Zimbabweans should be involved on key issues.
In a statement released on the eve of Independence by Daniel Molokele, who is The International co-ordinator for the Global Zimbabwe Forum said, "we would also like to express our full disappoint at the all-inclusive government's apparent failure to fully engage the various Diaspora communities since it was set up in February 2009.
"We call for the inclusion and participation of the representatives of the various Diaspora communities in all the key national processes such as the making of the new Zimbabwe Constitution, national Census and the general elections," said Molokele.
He added that, "It is our strong view that Zimbabweans living in the Diaspora should be accorded both dual citizenship status and the right to participate in all the major elections in Zimbabwe."
Turning to independence, Molokele said the group, "remain concerned by the unresolved political conflict in the country that continues to polarise the nation and undermine the socio-economic prospects of our motherland.
"We would like to urge all the relevant political parties especially those working under the all-inclusive government to put aside their personal interests for the sake of progress in Zimbabwe."
The group said Zimbabwe urgently needs political stability, in order to move forward.
