Zimbabwe government is a product of rape - Makoni

Speaking at a Zimbabwe Youth in Politics public meeting in Harare at the weekend, Mavambo Kusile Dawn (MKD) president Simba Makoni said Zimbabweans should never allow another inclusive government to govern the country as the current inclusive government 'is a child of rape.'

"This inclusive government we have is a child of rape. While we accept the child, we cannot accept the process which brought the child," he said.

Makoni challenged Zimbabweans to take the destiny of the country into their own hands in the next elections.

The MKD leader said the inclusive government has failed to stop political violence and foster tolerance among Zimbabweans.
