Police display new riot gear at ZITF

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is exhibiting a brand new anti-riot gear at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), a move that has cast fear among other exhibitors.
The stand has attracted huge interest and police officers manning the stand are having a torrid time controlling the visitors.
The new gear, dark in colour usually seen worn by the FBI is on display.
"We are beefing up our riot gear stock and what is exhibited here police are going to have countrywide," explained an officer to a crowed as she voluntarily giving out information.
On display are baton sticks, teargas canisters and gas masks.
Asked by one visitor whether it's in preparation for elections, she could not respond.
However, visitors the stand could be heard saying if an uprising similar to Arab Spring occur citizens would be heavily assaulted.
Visitors are prohibited from taking photographs at the stand.
Scores of Zimbabweans have died at the hands of riot police while hundreds others sustained serious injuries.
