A Bulawayo family has deserted its house after a suspected GOBLIN was sent to unleash terror and strike fear into their daughter's heart for refusing to stay away from a married man. Lobengula West suburb residents on Thursday last week woke up to the sight of an object believed to be a goblin which had been placed near the gate.
When our news crew visited the house, residents were literally falling over each other to catch a glimpse of the much dreaded super-natural creature. The goblin was put in a brownish calabash-like container and laced in black, red and white beads. Black feathers were also placed on the calabash. Alongside the underworld creature were pieces of black and red cloth.
According to sources, the alleged goblin might have been sent to teach Nobandile Moyo a lesson after her alleged affair with a married man spiraled out of control. As per sender;s wishes, panic has gripped Nobandile and the rest of her family members as, since that day, have run away from the house and now reside at another relative's house in Magwegwe North suburb. Residents said there was once mayhem at Nobandile's home after a woman came and showered her with insults for selling her thighs to her husband.
"We suspect that she (Nobandile) is in a relationship with a married man and she was warned to stop doing so or face forces of the underworld," said the source.
In her defence, the alleged man snatcher Nobandile said the man at the centre of controversy was hers for good.
"I will never leave that hunk. I will deal with her (the man's wife) accordingly. In actual fact, she has heightened my desire for HER HUSBAND. I know she is the one who sent you, so go and tell her that she will lose her husband," declared Nobandile.
Contrary to her running away from her home, Nobandile said the goblin was not going to scare her off. A sister to Nobandile, Sindie Dlodlo was vociferous in her support for her sister.
"We will not remove the things sent to our house but we will wait for the elders to arrive. But the sad part is that the things she sent will go back and haunt her. If she thinks she can do whatever she wants at our house then she should think again," said Dlodlo.
Dlodlo said they were still waiting for their parents who are in South Africa to come and conduct a cleansing ceremony.
