Female vendor bashes 'irresponsible' father in public

Business came to a standstill between 10th Avenue and George Silundika in Bulawayo last Friday when as vendor attacked the father of her child for not taking care of their offspring. Precious Ndlovu was involved in physical fight with Timothy Chikusvura, accusing him of not taking care of their three-year-old child.
"The fight started when Chikusvura told Ndlovu that he was too busy to discuss the welfare of their child," said the source. The source also alleged that in 2009 Chikusvura is believed to have disappeared soon after discovering that he had impregnated Ndlovu.
"The couple has not been communicating after Ndlovu discovered that she had become pregnant. Ndlovu is self-employed and she has been working very hard for her child. It was drama and a lot of men had a field that day as their brother was bashed for being irresponsible," said the source.
We visited Ndlovu at her work place and she could not hide her anger as she told the news crew that Chikusvura was an 'irresponsible man'.
"I am going to continue assaulting him as long as he does not take care of his child. We have been fighting for a long time over the issue of responsibilities so that is the reason why I have decided to turn physical against him," she said.
However, Chikusvura refused to comment on the matter.
