THE MAN IS MINE!"
These words were continuously echoed by two Bulawayo women from Northend suburb as they fought over their suspected boyfriend's briefcase of clothes. It appears the women believed winning the briefcase meant getting the ticket to the man's heart.
The Northend residents had a free Action Movie last week when two women only identified as Mai Nethi and Mai Pee exchanged massive blows over a man. The man at the centre of the controversy is reported to have packed his belongings and left to stay at Mai Nethi's place. His actions angered his wife and she decided to confront her rival in a bid to try and knock sense into her head. Little did she know she was inviting trouble for herself because Mai Nethi told her that she should learn to bath!
Hell broke loose after the sentiments and the 'love lone' women started practicing kung-fu!
"It seems Mai Pee wanted to discuss the issue amicably with Mai Nethi since she thought her rival didn't know that 'their man' was a married man. It was a different case because that was not news to Mai Nethi who made it clear that the man had chosen her because she gave him better treatment," said our reliable source.
Realising that Mai Nethi was not letting go of the man, Mai Pee tried to snatch away her husband's suitcase but the later could not let go.
"They started fighting and Mai Nethi was being helped by her younger sister who was pretending to be stopping the fight and whenever she got the chance she pinched and slapped the opponent," added the source.
Mai Pee, realising that she was not winning the fight, ran away before being disfigured and the suitcase remained with Mai Nethi. When contacted for comment, the two women refused to comment saying they did not want to discuss their private lives with 'strangers'.
