Man dies from fractured skull in hit and run

An unidentified man died from a fractured skull and arm in a hit and run incident in Bulawayo on Saturday night, police have confirmed.
The man, according to the police, was hit by a yet o be identified motorist opposite Kango Belmont along Plumtree Road.
"Police are appealing for information on a fatal road accident which occurred along Bulawayo Plumtree road at the 2km peg opposite Kango, Belmont, Bulawayo where a pedestrian was hit by an unknown motorist on 15th June 2019 at 2245 hours," said the police.
"The body of the unidentified male adult was discovered lying in the middle of the road with a fractured skull and left hand. The unknown motorist did not stop after the accident." The police said it is a crime for one to flee from an accident scene.
"Police would like to warn motorists against running away from scenes of accidents. They should stop, render first aid where necessary and report to the police. Anyone with information pertaining to these cases may report to their nearest police station," said the police.
