Fireworks expected at MDC-T meeting

Fireworks are expected at an MDC-T Bulawayo provincial meeting on Friday after party members from Makokoba petitioned Bulawayo provincial chairman Gorden Moyo to confront Mzilikazi Senator Mattson Hlalo fingered in the recent defections that rocked the party two weeks ago.
The party members are expected to hand over the petition to Moyo at the provincial offices.
Signed by more than 200 members, the petition is disowning Hlalo as their senator amid threats of sabotage to his party activities.
It is alleged that the 254 members who defected to the Welshman Ncube led MDC were Hlalo associates hence he has a hand in their actions .
"We want to grill Hlalo; we will tell him were are no longer working with him in the constituency because he is destabilising the party structures which were built over a decade," said a party insider.
