Bhebhe to replace Tabitha Khumalo

MDC-T deputy secretary-general Abednico Bhebhe is set to replace Tabitha Khumalo in the Joint Monitoring Committee, as the ousted deputy spokesman continues to be sidelined after a fallout with the party hierarchy.

Sources last week said Khumalo would also be relieved of her duties in the Sadc Parliamentary Forum and the International Parliamentary Union.

MDC-T officials claimed Khumalo was being dropped because of reckless comments regarding the rights of sex workers, but sources said this was far from the issue and that she was more a victim of factional fighting.
