Power cuts hits Zimbabwe's Mine Entra exhibition

The 17th edition of Mine Entra in Bulawayo has been negatively affected by electricity cuts that have hit the city. Mine Entra began this morning but the ZITF complex is without electricity.
Some exhibitors are using generators and this has affected a high profile conference.
ZITF chairman, Bekithemba Nkomo apologised to delegates. "We are saddened by an unexpected power cuts. I would not be attending the conference with ZITF general manger Daniel Chigaru. We have to sort this out" said Nkomo.
Several foreign investors have said the lack of steady power is forcing them not to invest in Zimbabwe."
