Every woman's dream is to work and provide for her children, watch her children go to school and go about her daily chores in and outside the home. Unfortunately, this is not the case anymore for Alpha Ndhlela.

Silently, in the heart of Bulawayo in Emakhandeni Surburb, stands a house where 32year old Alpha lives with her 4 children aged 14, 11, 8, and 3 respectively in a small room that the family calls a home. Alpha's story is a sad tragedy. Unlike other mothers her age, she can no longer provide and care for her children due to a tragic accident that left her with one leg, as she had to have an above knee tion.

The single mother of 4 had been a cross-border trader when the tragic accident happened. Due to this she is now unable to work and support her children financially. Three of her children are of school going age and therefore need school fees that she is failing to pay leading to her children being sent away from school due to fees arrears.

Another area of concern is that Alpha did not get counselling for this traumatic life changing experience that leads her to emotional depression coupled with the problems she is facing now.

On behalf of Alpha and her chidren, Makokoba Health Care Initiative, check our website www.makokobahealthcareinitiative.org, a charity organisation under Makhox Brand( which runs facebook pages such as Makhox Women's League, where Alpha sent her story and the admins brought it forward to our charity board, Career/ Business Initiative To Empower Women@Makhox, SingleParents.Com@Makhox, Real Men@Makhox, OnlineEducation@Makh ox, Short Stories In Ndebele Literature@Makhox, Makhox Sunday School, God Loving Christian Ladies @Makhox) is appealing for any form of assistance from well-wishers all over the world.

Alpha needs an artificial limb that will enable her to go back to her normal life and operate a flee market so that she is able to provide for her children. The artificial limb cost $350 which is about 3000rands more or less. More importantly as well, she is appealing for financial aid so that she is able to pay school fees for her children.

As a brand, Makhox Brand has made it possible for her to get professional counselling. Our partners Contact Family Counselling Centre in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, have pledged to offer free professional counselling and also provide transport to and from the counselling sessions.

Friends, brothers and sisters let us open our hearts and assist the family to have a comfortable life.
