Mzilikazi Clinic set to offer free treatment, '12th March'

Ordinary Zimbabweans are set to receive free treatment from the Zimbabwe Medical Association at various designated clinics across the country on the 12th of this month. Mzilikazi Clinic in Bulawayo is among the selected clinics.
The free treatment programme which will be targeting the under-privileged members of society will see doctors affiliated to the Zimbabwe Medical Association ZIMA, attending to patients with various ailments at designated clinics across the country.
Addressing a media briefing, ZIMA President, Dr Enock Tatira said plans are at advanced stages for the exercise to take off, with the association having proccured medical drugs.
To complement the Zimbabwe Medical Association doctors, the Zimbabwe National Army will bring in medical personnel to assist during diagnosis and the treatment of patients.
Dr Tatira said patients with complicated cases will be referred to general hospitals for further treatment which will be carried out free as well.
The exercise will be carried out at Dzivarasekwa's Rujeko Clinic in Harare, in Kwekwe at Amaveni, St Peters Mission Hospital in Checheche and in Bulawayo Mzilikazi Clinic.
