Senior citizen given condom as change, demands woman to use it with

A Supermarket in Entumbane suburb in Bulawayo briefly closed last Thursday after a customer lost his wits and vicously demanded his one cent change.
The customer, who identified himself only as Nyathi, and qualifies to be a senior citizen, had gone into the supermarket to buy a 5-kg bag of flour which costs US$4.99. When he reached the pay point, he produced a US$5 note and was surprised after he was not given his 1 cent change. This did not go down well with the man and a immediately ran amok.
Nyathi made noise which attracted the attention of other customers and they ended up gathering around the counter witnessing the fracas. In a video clip, that our news crew is in possession of, the man refuse to be given a sweet but accepted a condom. After receiving the condom, the man over zealously demanded to be given a woman to use the condom with.
"Give me the woman too," he said.
The outrageous demand by the old man drew laughter from other customers while the security guard who tried to intervene was warned not to dare. The manager was eventually called to deal with the situation but the customer went on.
Nyathi accused the supermarket of fleecing customers by pegging prices knowing that they do not have one cent change.
"How many people leave their one cent change and how much do you make by the end of the day? That means you net more than US$1,000 in a month in an illegitimate manner," said the angry man.
The manager briefly closed the supermarket to allow the angry customer to calm down. A staffer at the supermarket confirmed the incident and said for a moment they were terrified.
