Man killed by illicit brew

A 41-yeAr-old Mount darwin man died after consuming an illicit brew allegedly on an empty stomach.
The now deceased Stanley Gomo from Zindoga village is said to have fallen ill after consuming the illicit alcohol before his death at a local hospital.
Mashonaland Central acting police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo said: "His friend Talent Chaurawa tried to render first aid and ferried him to hospital, but he died along the way and his body is at Mount Darwin Hospital awaiting post-mortem."
Dhliwayo warned people to shun illicit beer and to always eat first before consuming beer.
