Mathema urges visitors to take advantage of Bulawayo's investment opportunities

THE Resident Minister of Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, Cain Mathema has urged visitors to this year's Zimbabwe International Trade Fair to take advantage of their visits to the City of Kings and Queens to explore its beauty and investment opportunities.
Governor Mathema appealed to local and foreign investors to take advantage of Bulawayo Governor Cain many opportunities Mathema offered by the city.
"Bulawayo is the industrial hub of this country. I want to urge all local and foreign exhibitors coming into the city to take advantage of the city's investment opportunities," he said. Governor Mathema also extended a warm welcome to all exhibitors.
"The ZITF is open to both local and foreign exhibitors and visitors; therefore we want to welcome all exhibitors and visitors from other towns and cities. I want to welcome those in Bulawayo and its surroundings and say that this is time to shine," said Governor Mathema.
Governor Mathema said in the past few years Bulawayo has witnessed the closure of many industries due to the effects of illegal economic sanctions imposed on the country by the West. He said industries in Bulawayo need to be revived and ZITF is an opportunity for investors to explore business opportunities availed by the city.
"The Trade Fair is a great opportunity for the city to revive its industries and for investors to explore many business opportunities in the city. Bulawayo should return to its former glory;' added Governor Mathema.
Apart from business, he encouraged visitors to take some time to enjoy some of the tourism and leisure centres dotted in and around the city.
