Movement for Democratic Change leader Morgan Tsvangirai descends on Bulawayo Thursday where he is expected to meet several stakeholders including the business community, church leaders, civic society and the public.
Tsvangirai's spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka confirmed the Prime Minister's visit, saying he would be coming to update business and church leaders specifically on the elections and mapping a way forward regarding the problems besetting the city.
"The Prime Minister will be coming to Bulawayo on Thursday (tomorrow) and will hold meetings with cross sectional groups just to update them on what is happening in the country, specifically on the elections," he said.
Tamborinyoka said the meeting with the business leaders would be the main agenda.
Tsvangirai is set to assess the impact of challenges faced by the community and clear gray areas on the party's position on the resuscitation of the economy.
He is set to address the community on perennial water shortages faced by the city, the closure and relocation of and relocation of industries in the city and the position of the party in the revival of such facilities after the crunch elections are expected before 31 July.
